PORT ANGELES – Christina Rosenthal exhibits her new group of abstract paintings at the Harbor Art Gallery.
His exhibition, “Trajectories”, is housed in the Gallery’s Featured Artists Room at 114 N. Laurel St. during the months of September and October. Hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday.
The public will be able to meet the artist during regular hours on Friday, as well as on September 8, 9, 10 and 11 and during the Port Angeles Art Walk on September 11 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Rosenthal said his work was born out of a desire for creative freedom after years of working in fashion, film and decorative art venues.
“I dove into the limitless realm of abstract art,” Rosenthal said.
“My recent group of paintings serve as a springboard to uncharted territory and exciting visual worlds to explore. Having no preconceived ideas or constraints, recognizable symbols, perspectives and objects suggest themselves.
“Unexpected and surprising, they appear without apparent intention, but are open to possibilities for development and transformation,” the artist continued.
“Trajectories can lead anywhere… and anywhere. ”
